Rachel Albertson ~ William Portis

Rachel was born about 1809 in North Carolina.  She died after 1860.  She had a brother Joab.

 

William Josiah was born in North Carolina.  He died after 1832.  He was the son of Sarah Maude Crowder and James Parnell Portis.

 

Rachel and William were married 6 Sep 1832 in Davidson County, North Carolina.

 

Their five children:

1. Emeline was born 1833 in North Carolina.
2. Silas was born in 1835 in North Carolina.
3. Elizabeth was born in 1836 in North Carolina.
4. George was born 15 Dec 1839 in North Carolina.
5. Martha L. was born 1841 in North Carolina.
