Emily Osborn ~ William Bales

Emily Osborn was born 23 May 1821 in Guilford, North Carolina.  She died 31 Oct 1897 in Danville, Hendricks County, Indiana.  She was the daughter of Esther Howell and Job Osborn.

 

William Bales was born 19 Sep 1819 in New Garden, Guilford County, North Carolina.  He died 15 Apr 1899 in Danville, Hendricks County, Indiana.  He was the son of Rachel Hunt and John Bales.

 

Emily and William married 28 May 1840 in Hendricks County, Indiana.

 

Their children:

1. John Alpheus was born 31 Jul 1841.
2. Sarah Malinda was born 16 Jun 1845 in Indiana.
3. Anna was born 23 Aug 1846.
4. Rachel Esther was born 13 Jul 1849.
5. Emily Minerva was born 3 May 1853.
6. Amanda Ellen was born 25 Mar 1856.
